Things you can't believe you heard in your youth

I just stumbled over this at you-tube and OMG i can't believe i heard such stuff in my youth.
Good that my hardcore/gabba time was short and i drifted more to "softer" electronic.
Still can't believe that this is/was music :D
Anyone else?

  • Peaceful, Realaxing, Tranquil, Beutiful, Evocative, Clear Blue Sky's....simply Lush

  • Mate, back in the day at illegal raves, held in fields, barns, car parks, etc. High as a mofo on E's.. the atmosphere was pure adrenaline... all the crowd in the moment... it was unbelievable.

  • I love YouTube for this sort of thing; it's the only place I can find non-mainstream music from my youth. This one in particular takes me back to my late teens. Forward to 2:21 for the glory.

  • All that Led Zeppelin...

i still listen modern hardcore - together wih other styles like psyteance but also chillout

modern hardcore movement is very strong and production skills needed to make modern sounding hardcore tracks are very high, it's one of most complicated electronic style in terms of needed production skill..

+1 but it certainly is NOT gabber. The lineage / tradition is really different - more noise / indus / experimental. love it. no drugs necessary.

  • Oh lovely Rotterdam Gabba. I did love you. Used to go to sleep on it. Now can't help seeing the devil in all this. If he were to come to earth, I don't think its in the way most imagine. Possibly assuming the form of technology itself or darkening our creativity to a point where we are inadvertently paying homage to his ideologies. Thus ensuring clean passage through the dimensions.

  • The first album I bought with my own money was Swing Out Sister's "It's Better To Travel".

I was not a rebellious kid. Making up for it now though!
