Question About Support with iMS20

Hello, tried searching the forums here, but don't think I was able to answer my question. I have an Akai Synth Station Pro 49 midi controller for my iPad. It works with all my synth apps I've used so far, but on iMS20 I cannot record into the sequencer with my midi controller, just the touch pad (which really disappointed me). All I would like to know is if Audiobus will allow me to play with my midi keys and record into a DAW or the Loopy app I have been reading about. Really simple and potentially stupid question, but I just needed to know this. Thanks.

    If you're asking if Audiobus will make your Synth Station work again with iMS-20, then the answer is no. It will however let you record any audiobus compatible source app into any audiobus compatible destination app.

    Thanks for the response. I just realized my wording was really confusing though. The synth station does work with iMS-20, I just cannot record on that app's sequencer using the synth station keys, only the touch screen keys, for whatever reason. Based on what I've read though, it sounds like Audibus will allow me to send or record what is being played with my synth station keys on iMS-20 to any other sort of compatible DAW or looper.

    Hi @waedsee , you mean you can play iMS-20 with your midi controller and it works but won't record to the sequencer inside iMS-20? Then Audiobus will allow you to record what you are playing. iMS-20 is kind of a beast though (i'm sure you know) so make sure you have a newer device (iPhone,iPad) if you want it to work well.

    Hope that's the answer you were looking for.

    EDIT: I wrote this before your latest response. I am sure audiobus will do what you want. :-)
    also my bad, iMS-20 doesn't work with iPhone.. iPad 3rd G or better i guess
