Brag a bit

Of all your shareable links, what are you the most proud of (yes, I know this is pushing vanity, but what the hell.)

I rather liked this, although it's not fully developed, as is the case for most of what I've done...

ok, I'll bite... this was cludged together (or rather developed itself) within 15 Minutes when I first tried out the Fairlight (now Peter Vogel) CMI app on an iPad One.
Iirc I captured the output on PC and added some guitar amp-sim postpro.
The small snippet has an unusual groovy touch, which most of my other tracks lack o:)

  • Damn that ego...

  • Damn...like the groove @Telefunky !

  • Nice tune @richardyot....lots to be proud of there! Did you write it?

Yes, one of my monthly Song Of The Month entries.

Great choice. I like! It has a very ethereal quality.

Working night shift, so going to bed, but I'd love to hear from others.

  • I last week closed up shop with Krumpled....deleted all online accounts for Youtube/soundcloud/reverbnation....to stop me just banging out stuff and uploading it before I properly thought about it and finished it....
So sadly i cannot provide a link....I was mostly pleased with all of it, but not entirely happy with any of it :)

    Great tunes here peeps :)

  • I'm partial to this trippiness

  • I was always quite pleased with the way this came out. It's about 6 years old now and one of my Maschine excursions...

    Beautiful!

  • I am perversely fond of this Allman Brothers Band parody/homage:

Nice links above :) Here’s some older stuff from Tipper’s labels Fuel and Crunch (they spelled skoptic wrong on the second one, always got to me but it had gone to print before I saw!) and last one from Smallfish records split 12 with Posthuma (older glitchy breaks stuff)

  • Not finished and probably not too good, but I love it.. happy with drums and the piano chirps half way through..

I recorded this one almost twenty years ago. Still my favorite. Used a Yamaha EX5 for the piano sound.

  • Such good tracks! Thanks for sharing, folks!

In celebration of the amazing sampler workstation BM3...

100% of the sounds (not just audio clips - but drums, instruments, etc) come from sampling the movie Devil Doll

  • this tune was suddenly in my head as I was walking around in Potsdam with a friend shortly after the Berlin wall came down, me being in a slightly depressive mood at the time

this version is a remake of the early one and from 2009, still quite happy with it overall, one of my better pieces methinks

Holy shit, ratjacket and the reprise are so good. Pumped me up!

Here's my take on 77-83 power pop, which has always been the style of song I write naturally. I hadn't listened to these in a looong while, but damn! I did good. My goal was to make a great windows-down driving album. Mission accomplished.

Ha! Thanks. Glad you enjoyed them. If I recall correctly, I did them completely inside Medley with nothing else. It is an overlooked app.

A rare attempt at a full track. Done with gadget. It needs work but it's something. I do like it through some powerful speakers. Needs polishing and remixing but I lack skills and energy ;(

  • Some nice work in here!

  • This is one of those need to listen to the whole thing songs that really enjoyed making.

  • Great thread. Can't wait to enjoy these on the patio over the weekend. It's been awhile since I've finished anything and ready for some inspiration with fall approaching.
This is my current fave. Besides being a newer piece, it's my push towards a more live ambiance, and this one in particular seemed to come out better sonically than most of what I've been able to do on iOS-

  • My first iOS music post on YouTube has 7k views. I'm quite proud of that... 5 years later :D

Not proud enough to share it again here, but I really should post some more content
