Groovebox update is great but....
.... it ruined my Jam tonight because I couldnt use it with the host of other apps running through my Launchpad Pro channels, because you have to have the synth you want up on the screen right? I've been using groovebox a lot as a alternate key change with my jams. The problem is that there is no way to set the midi channel for the groovebox synths! This makes it useless now for my needs.
@AmpifyxNovation Am I just having a shortbus moment or am I missing something?

You are correct. This isn't possible right now. However, it is on our list. We can't guarantee when, but we know this is a big request for you guys (for us too if I'm honest).
For multiple MIDI channels to merely be on a list as opposed to simply in there from the start, (or at least the very next thing)...
...then it really doen't matter at all what we are told is coming up, in terms of features, as it will more than likely just be this 'minimum viable product' aproach as opposed to what has been standard for the past 30+ years.

The case being as it is I am loving the fact that I can finally sample beats, basslines and melodies directly in Beatmaker 3 via the Midi In functionality.
Having Groovebox mapped to BM3 pads set to my favorite scales is great.
Sampling Groovebox has really shown me how much care you guys have put into the synth engine...there are some loverly timbres in there.
I guess what I'm saying really, is that Constraints tend to make for creative exploration and discoveries during the creation process.

@AmpifyxNovation Although I have not used the app as of yet, well I downloaded it on release, played a minute and quickly deleted it.
I would suggest to keep the simple midi mode and add the ability to go advanced midi like gadget, giving options to select different midi channels and devices.

Yeah. I Flight Test the app, and at first was not sold on 'another' synth. But I had to admit that after a while I came around, and now love what the guys have done with Poly 8.
It is a really good sound engine in the synths.
Some of the sounds are nice but to be honest I'd rather see a dedicated synth.app with AUv3 support.
Base it on BassStation or the MiniNova and give Korg some competition
Question: I've unlocked all the expansion modules. After tweaking presets in Poly-8, is there an option for me to save my own preset (and maybe give it a name?)

the novation apps feel almost there...but never all the way done at this time. I like blocswave etc but its underwhelming to me at the moment.
How many use this on iPhone? It's really frustrating having a piano roll where only 2 BEATS are visible at one time. That's right 8 1/16th notes. Makes programming drums a giant pain in the ass. Forget playing a bass line and lead at the same time aslo. Only 1 octave visible on the keyboard. It would be great if maybe I could turn it horizontal and get more keys or ya know, a piano roll sized for the eyes of a healthy adult with decent vision. The synths are great, midi is nice, but I'm not paying for a single additional pack or anything until this dumb stuff is remedied. As though there haven't been countless apps that have set successful examples of these things around the App Store for years
Next update you will be able to save one preset. Maybe more in the future. It's on the list.
