What's next? I need to buy something new and shiny.

What app/AU is next to hit?

Beap Street............what's up with an upgrade to Sunrizer or Dagger?

NS3?

Wow, are we done ever having anything new?

Kidding.

I wouldn't be shocked to have some new Arturia or Moog app come out of no where in the next month or 2.

  • The track marks in my brain are still livid from the last delivery, but I'm game skipper...

The only new thing that can matters nowadays is (excuse me Beatmaker 3 - Auria Pro - Cubasis 2.x) Apple Logic Pro Mobile!
I think that only Apple is capable of getting everything right for the beginning and more or less bug free in 1.0 release!

And, after that, we will see Propellerheads Reason Mobile that will blow every limit in iOS to the highest possible border and limitation...

  • I will be happy if all my favorite apps update to work with iOS 11; especially with the new file management system.

I'd love to see it too even at higher 'iOS price-point'(~$99.99).
But more realistically I think we'll see a major update to GarageBand with more editing and automation capabilities.

Logic Pro x documentation already describes GarageBand as the cut down version of logic. So much so that in the recent updates for logic, when you boot up the software you have to actually go into the preferences to 'turn on' the advanced mode, to switch it from GarageBand mode into Pro mode.

I kinda think GarageBand is the iPad version of Logic Pro according to Apple. For the time being anyway. Rumor has it that they are slowly merging the two and that the 10.4 the next major upgrade will see more GarageBand additions to Logic Pro like the Apple loop mode that GarageBand has. But we'll wait and see.

    Wow.

  • Reason is going to be mega, especially because Rack Extension will be able to run and be shared between desktop and iOS
