Seaboard Block transpose by semitones

I looked at ROLI's website, YouTube and so forth.
But I couldn't find the answer. There are two "arrow buttons" to go up or down an octave.
But can I transpose by semitones? I assume it can be done using the Dashboard software, but that is not available for iOS, when playing sounds in GB or Cubasis.
Anyone knows the answer?

P.S.: I am not much of a Keyboarder, so I wanna stay on the "white keys" when playing G Minor. Damn, they aren't white on the Seaboard :-) but you know what I mean :-)

  • It doesn't seems possible which makes me wonder about it's usefulness in this kind of surface controller...
I can't find any Blocks module that can handle that function.

You can run it through ThumbJam, and set thumbjam to map to white keys.

You could try Midiflow, though I haven't. But thumbjam worked for me in the past for this purpose.

How do you like your block? I bought the Animoog MPE presets by Steffen Presley.

Have you actually ponied up for more sounds inside the Noise app?

  • I don't have the Seaboard Block (yet).
What I do have is the Lightpad Block. Although it is somehow cool, I more or less stopped using it. For my taste, you gotta strike it much too hard, this is an issue that I have read comments about by several people.
I have bought several sound packs in the Noise App. I was happy with many of the sounds.
But I prefer Apps that can nicely be integrated into my workflow.
So that would be Apps Supporting iOS AU, or a Plugin for Logic Pro on my Mac.
Hopefully, Equator is gonna be cool for me. It should be sound wise, many sounds seem to be the same as in Noise.
