noise when switching between apps
Hi...I suspect this s not a new topic. I am using an ipad mini 2. I have audiobus 3 with loopy hd, gadget, and Patterning running inside. When I switch from one to another there is always a glitchy noise...is it just because my ipad mini is not butch enough?
thanks.

I assume you mean switching with AudioBus 3? Yes, I've noticed this too of late. iPad Air 2, with only one synth, so I don't think it's a cpu problem.
I hate switching screens and try to avoid that when recording. Get them all the time although last video i did had one that i heard during the performance but i don't hear it in the recorded aum track.
I suspect the (becoming) foreground audio app is syncing samplerate.
This seemed to be much less the case in older IOS versions (never noticed it with the Alesis ioDock), but later watched it with the 'just' class-compliant Audient ID22 (lights flash) frequently.
This is one of those ancient problems that has been passed down through the ages in many forms.
Still widely part of Audiocopy and several others.
Glitchy noise !? You are getting off lightly .. depending on what mood my iPad Air 1 is in , it can go into full on melt down between screen swaps. I try to avoid if I can.
Ah...I am not alone.....that's good.....but it's a real shame because the screen switching is essential for my looping endeavours....without it I'm stuck with being on the loopy page and having very limited control (basically start/stop....which is something I guess!) of the other apps. Maybe not quite time to sell the old RC300.....
