I keep my six apps for normal ipad usage. These are what I have in my dock:

    • Safari
    • Mail
    • iFiles
    • Photon Browser (for Flash pages)
    • Setup
    • Notebook
  • My bank, Safari, App Store, Spotify, Mail, FaceTime!

    Sorry! :)

  • My dock has folders....Apple, AB, Guitar, Mega Synths, Composing, and Drums and DAWs.

  • safari, mail, settings, auria, audiobus, nanostudio

  • @funjunkie27 you have a Jailbreak....are 7 :-) lol

Well,as a true appaholic is my first one the app store of course :)

followed by mail, safari,a calculator, notes and iMessage

good idea with the folders though.Never thought about that for some unknown reason.

  • @Audiojunkie I like to make my list like your....your trick?

  • In mine is normal use items; Chrome, Gmail, Settings, AppZapp, and AppStore

@funjunkie27 - out of curiosity what is in your MegaSynths folder

@Synapsya For itemizing things in a list, Start with an asterisk "*" followed by a space, and then your listed item. Press enter to go to the next line and do the same again for your next item. The key is the asterisk. :-)

Edit: By the way, you can use the following as well: Markdown syntax or HTML

@Sinapsya - not jail broken....it is only six folders "Drums and DAWs" is a single folder.

    @JMSexton - my "megasynths" are..

    • Animoog
    • iMini
    • Nave
    • TC-11
    • WaveGenerator
    • WaveMapper
    • Thor
    • IMS-20

Thought I'd put @Audiojunkie's tip to use, but it didn't seem to work. I tried double carriage returns, although that isn't very elogant.

  • Safari, Mail, Settings - everything else is in folders. Page 2 is devoted to music app folders.

  • iCab browser, AppStore, AppZapp, Settings. (Appoholic I know)

Other general usage things like mail etc are on the first screen. Then there's a music page with synths, sound modules, DAWs, effect units etc categorized in folders. Another page for various apps categorized in folders. And so on. I keep it the same on the iPhone.

good idea with the folders, also didn't think about that.

    • Cubasis IC Pro

    • V-Control Pro

    • Lemur

    • Konkreet Performer

    • Auria

    • Settings

with the new folder option in iOS7 I might change my entire arrangement.

The iPads are mainly controllers for me, that's the initial idea, but since Auria/Audiobus/Jack/IAA and rather good synth/sampler/vocoder apps this has changed a bit. For example, I use Konkreet Performer rather rarely.

  • Make sure there is a full carriage return before your first "*" line and after the last one.

  • @syrupcore Thanks....This is why don't work for me...good :)

  • Dolphin (browser), Gmail, NotesPlus, Audiobus, AppStore, Settings

  • Audiobus, Netflix, MLB, YouTube, Safari, and Mail.

  • Facebook, Waze GPS, Google Chrome, Audiobus, Auria, Jamup Pro

  • Settings, App Store, AudioShare, Mail, Photos and Safari
