Can Groovebox be sequenced by Troublemaker, etc?
If I have AB3? Or is their midi implementation truly screwed? Anyone know?

Yeah it works awesome!
Excellent news. Thank you.

That's a big thread @MusicMan4Christ. How do i do it?
@MusicMan4Christ I wish you had mentioned it requires an additional AB3 app that also has core midi!!!!! Luckily I got it working with Animoog and I'll try some others
If you've got modstep you could route through the to go from ab3 ?
Nah im slummin it on the phone
Damn now it's not working. I had Ruismaker as a midi sender in ab3 going to Animoog as a receiver and then in Animoog selected groovebox for midi out and now I'm getting nothing. Can anyone help?
Not overly familiar with animoog.....does it have a setting for MIDI through ?
I thought it did. But apparently I got all my shit mixed up so no it doesn't work like that. You can't do it. Not unless there's a workaround with an app that I don't have.
You can do it with AB3 and AUM, use AUM as a Re-Router in the midimatrix.
Should work on iphone too
@Carnbot I appreciate the info, but I don't have AUM and the question wasn't "can I use these apps in combination with Aum as a workaround to sequence Groovebox"? I asked about AB3, troublemaker, and groovebox and then the music man came in and was all like "oh yeah it works great" so I bought AB3 and then was disappointed. Luckily it can do other cool things. Not your fault, just saying. I suppose AUM is a good investment but at that point I've spent nearly thirty dollars to do some simple stuff.
Yeah I hear you, just trying to help. But it's impossible to know what apps people don't have. I thoroughly recommend AUM in your toolbox though as well as AB3. I'm not too familiar with Groovebox, midi options seems pretty limited right now. It's their issue really for not providing better midi in options.
But yes AB3 is money well spent in the long run. Can do some great things with it
MidiFlow adapter is $1.99 US.
Ah ha.
Wait. Says it won't work with apps that have no midi setup page. Damn. I blame Groovebox
Good thought though
I think it should still work. I believe that's referring to when you're trying to direct output from core midi to AB3, not the other way around. If midi doesn't require an iAP in groovebox, I'll try it tonight.
MidiFlow adapter is worth having regardless.
I couldn't get midiflow adapter to see Groovebox.
It would work with midflow standalone app, but it's another purchase. Although actually I think you'd need both midflow adapter and Midiflow standalone app. Yep who says iOS music is cheap
