Neat!
My first AB patch.
Audiobus preset 'SyndtSphere Universe': http://preset.audiob.us/WCUFILQInmVHLrH
You can get some nice textures driving it with Fugue Machine and changing the play head speeds.
This seems like a ridiculously low price for a seemingly very cool AU. What's the catch?!
I've noticed it's been crashing a bit in cubasis for me but it's got some chilling and lovely string sounds wow
Seems the desktop version is free for this but no working link yet.
Zzzzz. Sorry Klevgrand, I usually love you
I like.
I think the catch is that it uses the same engine as Syndt. Also not sure how/if you save and recall sounds. I'm a Syndt fan, so I may get just for fun. Would be nice if you could automate the morphing.
Damn I kind of like this thing. Seems to behave differently when you use two fingers. Sure is a fast way to create tons of bread and butter type sounds. And by the way WHY ISNT THERE MORE SHIT LIKE THIS!?
Any sound samples?
It's Friday, it's AU$3, I'm just going to hit Buy and ask questions later.
Looks like you can automate AU parameters when hosted in AUM.
That's the attitude! It's $2 people, skip the coffee and check it out.
Holy crap, this thing is kinda awesome!
Um, what have I bought now?
Alright then. "click"
Always liked Syndt. It's a very clean sound but not antiseptic or cold. And this for two bucks you essentially get a less programmable but pretty delightful version.
Indeed you can, just been driving this with the ever useful StepPolyArp (I'm at work, no MIDI controller), works a treat.
A weird treat sometimes but has to be worth a couple of dollars of anyone's currency.
Might give Oscillab a go at control next ...
(Edit) Oscillab works a treat, set it going with some wacky filter/amp/pan waveforms mapped to the X/Y/Z axes then watch them animate in the AU in AUM (mapping Oscillab as the channel MIDI controller in there obviously), I latched the keyboard to a single note initially so I could hear my tweaking. Then touch the sphere occasionally for a new "start point" for those modulations.
Dunno if it's musical but it's fun.
As usual, you don’t like anything - you negative bastard :-)
Haha, I spent my initial rave review for the year on Zeeon. I'm fresh out for a while
Dusting off AC Sabre...
This looks like it could work great with parameters mapped to an XY pad.
Picked it up and already love it. Functional and quick.
What I like best about this app:
My wife and collaborator in UDAGAN (our ethno music project) has a fantastic ear for 'visualising' (auralising?) how a creation should sound. She has no technical knowledge in music production, however. In our creation process, I use as many XY interfaces and 'tactile' UX leaning generators and effects as possible, because its very easy to get a non technical collaborator involved in this way. Now I have a synth that I can just say "explore this until you find the sound that you like" and even if it doesn't give me the final sound for the track (sounds good to me so far, though) it definitely gives me a very good idea of what she's 'hearing', and allows me to work based on that with my preferred tools.
I'm planning to use it in this way with 'general' clients in the future too. Very useful tool!
For 2 euros? Yes Please!
Wish more developers would explore these kinds of interfaces instead of trying to emulate hardware all the time.
I got this one for 'support' but...
...they really need to hire a new designer who takes visual UX ergonomics seriously.
As much as I like the way their stuff sounds the UI makes them a pain to use and I'm almost ready to give up on the apps...(Ie. they are prime candidates for deletion when it's time to make room for new apps).
The desktop version is live now too.
Does it Automate in BM 3?
I hoped it would but I couldn't get it to work, Johan from KLEVGR thought it might, maybe I'm doing something wrong, that would be super cool though if you could, that was the first thing I thought about when I got the app
