Get back, Jack, do it again.
Bummer. Childhood fave.
I know I looot of music lecturers who're going to be heartbroken and taking out the frustration of their loss on the poor, unsuspecting students as this new uni year kicks off.
Oh shit! No way.
I saw them on their “Alive in America” tour with Drew Zingg on guitar (along with Mr. Becker, of course).
What! Has he died?? Hmmm.....one of my favorite bands Steely Dan. Great artist! May he RIP. By the way he made some interesting solo work as well.
Reelin' in the years.
RIP Mr Becker and thanks for your huge contribution to the soundtrack of my life.
Double helix in the sky tonight.
Love Steely Dan. Have seen them a dozen times and took my kids when they were little. This is a sad day...
So sad. Love them since the early 70s.
Oh Shit! I wasn't prepared for this... it's been my fav band since 1980 when Pink Floyd began its MMA infighting.
I discovered Steely Dan and Grateful Dead at the same time... west coast style greatness.
BYE BYE WALTER BECKER, I'll be seeing you n
They were always a band that had huge respect from fellow musicians, which says a lot. RIP.
