  • ios7 is cool to me on my Ipad4! No problems with arranging in Cubasis and synth apps via AB so far, and I can organize better and work faster.

  • Jawohl! :P

Could this be a band plug? lol

    No, it's an Audiofuss.

  • I was hesitant the last few days with the upgrade, but curiosity persevered, so i just gave in. The only nuisance that i have come across so far, is VoiceSynth not working with AB.

Apart from that, it is quite beautiful and to my surprise, feels very fast on my iPad 2. App Switching is defenitely faster and feels more fluid compared to iOS 6.

I am positively surprised, but still thankful for the warning, which made us being able to calculate the risks and make an informed decision. Definitely nothing to throw a tanty over, trolljob or not.

Grüsse aus München ans AB Team

  • Some folks on other forums suspect that the AB team's warning was a defensive maneuver to prevent people from adopting IAA, which allegedly kills AB's business.

Of course, those of us who know Michael and Sebastian know that their warning was sincerely about the user experience, and not motivated by business interests.

Furthermore, it'd have been a very weak business move - one email can't fend off competition from your underlying OS platform. So the conspiracy theory fails to hold water even from a cynical perspective.

A better business strategy for AB would be to innovate and pull ahead of IAA. And it clearly looks like this is the path they are taking. I'm pretty sure they're going to continue to offer value beyond IAA for a long time.

  • Such conversations should be written in this forum in Deutsch. Less chance of miscommunication that way.

Now Thomas, I must say that their was a pinned forum post that actually did cover the significant details of the audiobus team's take on iOS 7 during its release day. I don't know where that went, but it was reasonable, thorough, and accurate.

Also, what damage do you believe has been done by them issuing a warning? They didn't physically force anyone from updating, so what exactly is this causing which you have an issue with?
