New Korg Kross 2 works w iPad w camera connection kit
The old Kross Keybed sucked but they added sampling , 16 pads, doubled the ROM and USB audio plus midi in a single cord. They're pushing using it w Gadget. It's very light and runs on batteries . Even the battery life has been improved to 7hrs. Coupla sliders too..
It looks Kool. Check the specs and video here.

Looks definitely better than version one.
Could be interesting if it has a decent keybed. No aftertouch though...
I just downloaded the manual, but from the looks of it the 'sampling' is limited to the pads so no using custom samples to create playable synth sounds

(I'm digging deeper, one can apparently convert a bank of 16 samples to a regular program and play it using the keyboard). Now let's home Korg brings proper sampling to Gadget as well
@Samu , where did you find the manual? I looked on Lorg support "downloads" and I only found the first version manual. The pads kinda seem to work like the Electribe in that you can play the pads into the sequencer so that's pretty cool.
It's just meant for one shots . Did you notice you can load 128 gig additional pcm ? Maybe they'll make cards i.e. The m1 or dw series .
The Keynes on the original Krioss was a major issue .
@Samu, I did not know that (converting samples to a program.
Page 205 in the 'parameter guide' but it's just sample triggering, no way to stretch one sample to cover more than one key...
Thanks. I see, but again it's just for one shots.. It's not the ultimate but it's just a great sketch pad and the fact that it interfaces so perfectly with gadget and other apps. You can edit and stretch your samples later. Remember, the hardest s parts are starting and finishing
Samu, the fact that Korg (or someone else )doesn't hire you as a consultant is beyond me.
