Xynthesizr in Audiobus3
Core midi is disabled in with Xynth in AB3, so I cannot assign different colours to separate midi out channels. Is there any trick work around around that?
Comments
Well you can always use the midiflow filters, splitter and channels. Not as convenient but actually more powerful in combo with other filters.
@ph8aerror
I believe if you only load Xynthesizr in an Audio lane you should have control over multi channel outs - it's only if you load it in a Midi lane that you lose that capability.
This. It actually makes Xynthesizr more flexible IMO.
@wigglelights
Such a simple answer that I didn't consider it. This actually works.
Thanks
Correct
Not the only option because if you load Xynth just in AB3 midi receiving slot, you can still use core midi out, but still take advantage of AB3 routing for midi in to drive Xynth.
Hopefully the dev will add colour output ports for AB3 eventually like Midisteps.
I just tried that. You're right; it does work. Thanks!
I think the developer was very considerate in making it flexible in this way
