Apps without midi learn: boring

Does anyone else find great disppoint in some of these new synth apps that dont include midi learn?
Live modulation via midi contol is much fun, keeping things fresh and interactive.
And no i dont think we should have to bother with an inbetween midi connect app for this.
It's a real deal breaker for me.
Big thanks to those delvelopers who do include it

  • So many reviews on the Korg Mono/Poly complain about the lack of midi learn. I wonder if they're actually listening?

  • I prefer midi-assign instead of learn and often want multiple CCs assigned to one controller with different scaling.
Classical hardware dials are boring, I'm more into TC-Data and similiar surface controls.
More range, better dynamic, improved scaling ;)

  • I bought into 4 digits worth of apps, and the only few apps that I use are midi controllable.
The reasons: One screen, too many apps, many cheap controllers, workflow, physical feedback, app switching nightmare. I could continue like that...

Humbletune's, Holderness, Sugar Bytes, elastic drum, seekbeets(still lacking), AUM, LoopyHD...are my go to apps
    Some good synths also...

We should start a thread with a list of apps that are midi assignable/learning.

  • I found this thread, probably cud use an update.

Its just such a joy to actively modulate an app via midi.
