I control beathawk with ifretless bass app.
Great combo!

Thanks!

  • Really nice demo, and a good piece of proof that you can produce just about anything in Beathawk (or at least produce any initial music sketch for larger productions).

  • As a defrocked guitarist, I am very suspicious of digital imitations of stringed instruments. (GeoShredders, you're not fooling anybody. Ever.)

But this is quite impressive. And lovely. Thank you.

  • Super nice! Didn't know that pack had nylon guitar preset.

  • Indeed, lovely. If you played the clip for 100 random people on the street I bet not a single one would think it was anything other than a real guitar performance. Not that it should be the goal but that these apps are real forms of expression.

    Amazing!
And sure, the IAP packs in Beathawk is incredible! Highly recommended...

Could you achieve this expressivity with, say, ThumbJam? Or is iFretless on a different order?

  • Only connected by midi.
Crackles are because of 128 frames latency.anyway,i think so.lol!
Thanks a lot for your kind words guys!

  • Wow Flo, that's a great performance of a couple of great apps. Well done, indeed!

  • I though I heard a new Beathawk sale was happening but I guess it was their app going free.

    Yes, plus a new IAP.

Wow!! That is so close, in a full arrangement it would be nearly indistinguishable from the real deal. In this solo context it's close, damn close. Arpeggios especially. But the "machine gun" effect common on snare sample rolls also creeps into the whiz bang passages. But not so much to distract from the overall piece. I'm sure other guitarists & Producers would be the only ones to notice.

    Very cool...

  • Congrats flo! Very fine work

  • Thanks guys!

  • I love ifretless bass!

  • Yes iFretless is great and since I got iPhone 7+ It plays nice on that screen size like a real guitar neck.
    Good job Flo .

  • That is a wonderful demo of how realistic the Beathawk IAP can sound! Great playing too @flo26
    I really enjoyed it

I guess any of the iFretless apps could be used to control the guitar in Beathawk via midi?

  • Thanks a lot !
Yes,you can use any ifretlless app'for this.
    Cheers!!

  • wow, this is impressive, very authentic sounding. nice work

  • Nice! No chords or strumming, but very expressive and convincing single notes.

  • @flo26, beautiful! Nice work. I've tried to get iFretless to control beathawk but can't seem to get it to work. Can you post screenshots of how you did it? I did however do it with ThumbJam and that is awesome as well.

  • You must use network session.don't ask me why. ;)
Once ypu've selected this, you must close settings,or you won't hear anything.
    It should work.

I'm doing that but still no sound. Do you have to open them in a certain order?

Because both of these apps are finicky from MIDI perspective. BH especially.

Indeed! I've always had trouble with the iFretless stuff as midi controller and now beathawk as well. It works amazing with ThumbJam though..
