  • Well somewhere less than 25% of the time anyway.

  • Crashes tend to come and go in waves, as updates and then fixes are released, but usually less than 25%

  • Between never and a few % a year. Then again i am no 'power user'. I mainly use ipads and iphones as standalone instruments or as an effects unit.

  • I have Most of the Apps, and nearly Never an Crash.

BM3 crashes probably 75% of the time for me during extended sessions (with many instances of AUv3 effects). 50% of that time will happen with a session I've already saved, the other 50% is me yelling fuck this piece of shit.

  • Synthmaster Player crashes pretty much 100% of the time.

  • Outside of BM3? Almost never.

    Inside of BM3? Almost always.

    Every Freaking Time.

And what it is like "old school crash".........as in save doesn't always mean save.

    Like crash and burn.

    Oh well. Right.

    Yeah 1-5%
Not an issue. And when it is say after an update or new release it usually gets fixed quickly.

If it wasn't so good, I wouldn't keep going back. I've found certain things tend to cause crashes, like AU and bank changes, so I try to remember to save before doing any of these things.

I told my wife I must really love this app because i keep using it even though I lose a song an hour..........LOL

    You are right.

As soon as I used the AU Pumphouse I started having crashes.

I bought Epic Stabs, Analog, Digit, Soundscape, and Pads this weekend.

Gonna grab the vintage drums tomorrow.

  • Maybe 2% of the time if that. I'm sure it's better now, I just rarely use AB, but Audiobus was the only thing that ever caused me regular but seemingly random crashes. I don't miss the days of trying to pinpoint which app(s) in the chain caused the problems.

So removing AB out of equation lessened your crashes?

Any idea on update to fix the crashes?

There's a new update on its way. I don't see anything in the change log that looks like it is directly related but I'm sure they look at a bunch of bugs that don't make the list. I"m just going to keep at it. It took Modstep about a year to get fully stable? Maybe a bit more?

Almost entirely. Maybe I'm lucky and the IAAs I use are stable. The only real problem I have is getting Auria to load IAA instances upon opening and resuming a project.

    Well worth it

This is the first app I can admit I may be a bitch fan boy and proud of it.

I freaking love it for whatever reason.

My brain and creativity just plug in like the back of a head in the matrix. click click

I still far from master it, but I have never been so enthusiastic about an app to date.

You 'daily" session --------- into a looper app or the daw(Auria)?

What other are bread and butter apps you use?

All I use pretty much is Auria, AUM, Brambos stuff, Audio Damage stuff, the two Moogs, Mood, Zeeon, and Patterning. Occasionally some of the wilder Apesoft/Amazing Noises apps.

Same here. I've said it in other threads, but I'll say it again: BM3 unlocks creativity for me that I can't unlock anywhere else. So, I put up with the growing pains for now.
