iPad apps on the iPhone?
My iPad was stolen and I'm not able to replace it at this time. Over the years, I've collected quite a library of apps and have never used them on my iPhone. Can most iPad apps be run on iPhones these days? For those of you who work regularly on your iPhones, can you give me your thoughts about the workability of doing this? I have an iPhone 5s and thinking of trading up to the 7 Plus.
Many thanks for your thoughts,
Greg K.

No, you can't run iPAd apps on the iPhone, sorry.
Just go to purchased on your phone and see what's available. At a guess I would say about 1/3 of iPad apps are 'universal' and will also run on the phone. Personally I find that iPad apps aqueezed down to fit on phone are usually pretty unsatisfactory though there are always exceptions where the dev has a custom phone sized ui baked in as well.
O thanks! for some reason didn't think to do that. Yeh, was thinking it may be the case that most are unsatisfactory.
Ok, thanks. I guess its obvious but I wasn't 100% sure...
A lot of apps are universal, maybe we need a thread with a list and this could be it
Good news is that crucial apps like Audiobus 3 and AUM are universal.
There is a method for running iPad apps on a jailbroken iPhone, but I wouldn't recommend it.
I bet a good portion of your apps are universal, as others have said.
