Baffling Xynthesizr Storage?
My iPad is filling up, so I went into the storage folder to see what apps might be on the chopping block. Xynthesizr is definitely a keeper, but I was shocked to see it's taking up the most room on my iPad. I mean, I have stored a couple dozen patterns, but it is taking more room than Cubasis, Auria Pro, Beatmaker 3 and Gadget combined.
This must be an error. No way is Xynthesizr 9.53 gigabytes. Any suggestions?
Comments
Back the patterns up, delete it and re-install it.
It should only be 13.7mb
Why does that happen? So strange. And...remind me about backing up patterns? Not my strong suit....
Hmmm looks like you have to use the dreaded iTunes to backup patterns....
I'm caught in a vicious loop!
Can't do iCloud or Dropbox, I suppose....
This is so aggravating
I have 2 emails in an inbox on an AIR2.
620 mg.................how
Picture..............NONE............340 mb
Xynthesizer is one of those that I wish I used more.
Maybe I will.
Synthmaster......................700 plus
Beat Hawk.................I dunno 5.0 gig
Some apps are crazy.
Hook
iMPC MONSTERS.
Audiocopy is like 5.5 on mine
The rest a little better.
For mail, have you made sure you have emptied the trash and sent folders?
Likewise photos have you emptied the recently deleted folder?
That's crazy. I have a couple of dozen patterns stored in Xynthesizr, and it is only 15.6 mb
That’s a weird one.
You can do a bulk export via email.
Song -> Custom -> Select
Select all checkboxes
Export -> Mail
Send them to yourself
Delete Xynthesizr, check space, reinstall.
Open mail and copy the files back to Xynthesizr. One by one.
Maybe you have some recordings taking up space? In the gear menu in Xynthesizr you can find a recordings manager. Maybe the junk is in there.
