Anyone Know If BassLine Synth App has a manual?
Can't find one anywhere and really wanna learn about its sequencer. Thanks

http://www.finger-pro.com/docs.html. Nothing touching on the sequencer though.
Thanks Wim. Was hoping for a more in depth manual. But even youtube videos are not showing how the sequencer works.
I'd really love to be able to program some Basslines and trigger them via midi or as I play a root note in realtime.
The basic idea is the similar to most TB sequencers. You select which step you're on with the plus and minus buttons under edit step. Once you're on the step, you pick a note to play. If you select slide, it's like tying that note to the next. If you select the accent button then that note will be accented as controlled by the accent amount at the left hand side of the screen. The octave buttons should be self explanatory.
You can switch between patterns with the four buttons at the top. There are a bunch of tools for transposing, copy/paste, randomization, etc. if you pres the left arrow below "seq - synth - fx".
Or ... just use Troublemaker. Better sound, better sequencer, better manual, more actively developed app. (Don't get me wrong though, I still have a fondness for BassLine ... and especially it's really, really cute sister MoDrum.)
Thanks so much Wim.
I really wish Troublemaker gets the ability to save patterns so one can switch them in realtime as a song progresses. That's why I was looking into BassLine as it has Patterns and a built in Sequencer. I will eventually get TM though.
So in BassLine am I able to say record a pattern with my midi controller or another app sending midi to it and have that pattern be triggered by what ever root note I maybe playing?
Hope it makes sense.
You're looking in the wrong place for that IMO. I think what you need is an arpeggiator for what you're trying to do. But whether there are any that let you record a sequence into them ... I don't know off the top of my head.
Or ... maybe a pattern looper like Infinite Looper or Modstep? I dunno. Interesting problem, but not something I have time to look into atm.
I don't think you can record anything into the step sequencer in BassLine.
Wow thanks bro saved me some $.
Right now I have Addictive Pro Synth doing Bass on iPad and Model 15 on iPhone. My lunch break went by so fast!
