BM3: Loop import: Audio track or Bank square?
Which do you use?
You can load outside loop into a Bank or a track itself.
Which and why? What are pros and cons?
What is advantage of an audio track? How do you add effects to the straight audio track anyway?
The bank seems to make more sense, no?

I haven't found the best solution. Been doing a combo of both. Usually drum or percussion loops /one shots/fx into a Bank - bass loop too if I have one. Then synth pads or guitar or anything else into audio tracks. So far it seems like a case of 6 of one - half dozen of the other...
One consideration is how much do you want to FSU: samples loaded to a pad are subject to all the modulation possible in the Sampler, via lfo's, macros...
Good point.
Always a highly informed contribution!
You add FX to an audio track through the mixer. Long-hold at the top of the channel.
I would tend toward loading on pads for performance and on the timeline for composing.
Thanks!
