Home Studio Speakers <£100
Any recommendations for Home Studio Speakers including amp for less than £100?
As loud and clear as possible. I've looked at the Alesis Elevate mark 3 and 5, but not sure on them from reviews

I use Samson MediaOne BT3 and I'm really happy with them. They also have bluetooth which is useful. Or you could upgrade to the bigger BT4s.
Look second hand also.
I have some powered Fostex PM0.5 and they are great for a small room set up. I would recommend you go for powered monitors as at least you know it all matches well. You should be able to pick up some powered monitors that are about the same age as mine for well under £100
I would also vote for the Somson's. It's hard to get a pair of new real nearfield-monitors in this pricerange, especially if they have to have some power. If you could live with mono for some time, I would buy one active speaker and some time later the other one.
edit: If you would decide to buy only one speaker for the first time I can only say good things about yamaha. The HS5 is currently about 126 pounds on Thomann UK. I own the HS7 and they sound very good.
Thanks all for suggestions!
Dont worry about it too much. You cant mix or master with them anyways and will just use them to get an idea what your sounds sound like. When you have a sound treated room and 1k budget for monitors, then they start to have some real importance.
interested, too
do you think you would need subwoofer for them?
I like the Bose Companion series for making music @ home. They are NO monitors for proper mixing but it makes fun creating tracks using these little suckers.
Not to mix/play midi on, but a studio monitor with a bluetooth option has come in super handy for those times when you just want to sit a listen.
Got these, so far so good. Only gripe is when in sleep mode it takes about 10 secods of audio input till they come back on.

Thanks for the update. I have a bass bin speaker under a bed, so these could be a good option.
Nobody solely using pairs of JBL Control 1?
