Korg Module/Polyphony
I have been enjoying the Synthogy Ivory Grand inside Korg Module. I am running it on a 6th gen iPod Touch. In general the performance is great. However, I only delivers about 12 note polyphony. Worse, if you hold a note down with the left hand and hold the sustain pedal down and play a 3 note repeating chord 5 times with the right hand - it will "steal" the left hand bottom note even if you are still holding the note down.
I noticed on my 30 year old Ensoniq SQ80 (which only has 8 note polyphony) that it will note steal a note if it is still being held down. It will steal the oldest note that has experienced a "note off" event. This behavior is much more pleasing to the ear.
So the 8 note polyphony of a 30 year old keyboard is a bit more usable than the 12 note polyphony of Korg Module.
Also, not matter how you change the settings in Korg Module in regards to polyphony - as far as I can tell it does not make any difference. I also decreased the latency setting thinking that maybe if I allowed more latency it could support more polyphony but that does not seem to be the case.
Has anyone else noticed this behavior - any workarounds?
