ElasticDrums - won't save new songs

Just created a cracking tune in ElasticDrums, went to save and it told me I couldn't unless I purchased ( kick ) drum, or used another sound. I presume this is in an IAP pack I don't have, so changed it to a simple FM sound. Went to save, same error. Abandoned that, had to ditch it, tried another new song, same thing.
Anyone else getting this? This is the first time in months I've used the iPad for music, and straight away it's thrown a wobbly, and I've lost a really good little drum sequence.

Weird. Maybe the FM was also an IAP?
I have had that same issue, but for me it was because I was beta testing and swapping beats from phone to iPad and back. I was never sure what samples were on what device.
However: The app is universal, yes? So when I go to put in my password to restore purchases on the phone, I'm restoring, right? I've tried to restore, but it doesn't give me the IAPs I already own on the iPad. Strangeness.
It's weird, I managed to save a really basic, init patch, but as soon as I start adding sounds or use the randomiser it won't save. And since the sounds I don't own are t marked in the UI, I don't know what I can use.
