  • Yes, a great update:

  • Great! This app is now VERY usable. We can share our creations. Ill have to find my favorite. Amazing fun

  • Will be purchasing this, for sure. Looks brilliant!

  • Does it have midi in?

    Not yet.

    Next are some AB remote controls and MIDI proceeding that.

    It is cool without for now. I swear.

    I am a MIDI-holik myself, but, I am able to use this cold turkey.

    I often use it on the 2nd iPad anyway in which I use all touch based apps like Figure, TC-11, TriqTraq, or others.

    Carn, it is like a Sector type app. But with the visuals it gets so entrancing.

    For me this app is like Elastic Drums is for me. I can use it alone and have fun.

    Very few apps allow me to not "work" with them. So I think this is a great app for real song composition or waiting in the car at the store and vibe up on some glitchy tech disco shit.

    Don't forget to rate it.

    Dev asked me to ask people since no one has.

    He is working the Audioshare issue as we speak. Told him last night about it.

  • Ouf ! here I am ! (K Machine developper)
    Thanks @RUST( i )K for the thread and the bug report:D... and thanks all for the feedbacks;)

    As @RUST( i )K mentioned there was a bug on Audioshare import, just finished to fix it, the fix (2.62) is now in Apple’s hands for review and should be available very soon for download (may be a bit longer as it is Saturday though, a bit unpredictable in fact, hopefully tomorrow or on Monday).

    @Carnbot , no midi yet, but it is on the roadmap for sure, first in for controllers and then out. I really wanted to improve stability, and add AB Link and “Open in…” before starting midi integration.

    And yes, as mentioned by @RUST( i )K reviews on AppStore are very welcome ;) (I suspect my rank is for the moment quite bad, and a few stars always help to have more visit on the page ;)…thanks by the way to those who already have reviewed, it really helped !!:D

    Do no hesitate to contact for any suggestion or any other suspicious behaviour of the app, I will have a look asap !

    And if some are interested by more demos videos, I try to regularly post on facebook/kolargon and I have also grouped the videos tutorials & docs & files on a little forum https://kolargones.net/KMachineForum/ ...kind of super confidential forum for the moment :smiley: ...and accessible from within the app also ;

  • The videos are great.
    The black-and-white demo is pretty good too.
    Back to learning glsl coding for me. Im hoping I can now edit and trial code in k-machine without having to use a computer

  • @gusgranite welcome onboard !;)
    @Richtowns thanks;). Yes, concerning shaders edition, I think, at least from my own experience, that the "Open in..." feature is not a panacea, but more a temporary solution to allow the possibility to keep full shaders development on the device. But I also feel the limit of this solution, and I am working on a simple - but efficient - in-app editor, a bit similar to the one of vertexshaderart.com. Shader are compiled 'on the fly' (while writing them) and results/errors are immediately visible. Should be just two or three weeks before release;)

  • ^ If you have an app on the ipad that does editing this is now possible. I use GoodReader which is a nice app. In k machine the glsl files have an option to export/open in. This combined with k machine appearing as a destination for open in mean I'm independent of a computer which makes me happy. Look forward to the in-app editor but now I have a workaround Im very happy.

    Great, would be very interested if it got Audiobus 3 midi in and out so you could easily route other sequencers into it.

  • The fix for the AudioShare bug is now available on the App Store.

    @Richtowns didn't knew GoodReader, sounds good, downloading it;)
    @Carnbot noted!;)

  • Have this app. For shame I haven't opened it yet, but I love interaction with independent developers on this webhole. Definitely something to look forward to playing with when waiting in the car at the store and in need of vibing up on some glitchy tech disco shit as one does.
