Infinite Looper not recording CC/pitch bend? FIXED

Infinite Looper, though still rough around the edges, has beat out others to become my main MIDI recorder.
One big problem has surfaced though: I can't get Infinite Looper to record any controller or pitch bend data, neither from the controls inside IL, nor from CCs coming in via virtual MIDI from other apps. I can hand draw functioning controller and pitch bend movements into the pattern, but IL won't record live knob movements for me. I found the menu option AUTOMATION > "Record CC Automation", but it seems to turn itself back off when I close it's dialog box.

Can someone please just verify for me that recording automation is working in current version 2.4 of Infinite Looper. I'm trying on iPad Air1 and iPad Pro 10.5--both iOS 10.3.3.

Thanks for your time!

  • Hi -- you are correct on this -- looks like I inserted a bug in the latest update. Will fix, and try to get a new version pushed out shortly!

  • Thanks for a quick response, and I look forward to the update.

BTW, I really dig the new continuous loop recording feature! I don't think I could do without it now for capturing the perfect take. Looking forward to more!

    Thanks again!
