GALILEO ORGAN - CAN'T RECORD, CUBASIS SPINNING WHEEL, WITH AUDIOBUS

I just got Cubasis, and I can load Neo Soul Keys with it's "inter app" function, but Galileo Organ does not "show up" as an "inter app," so I tried Audiobus.

With Audiobus, I get sound, but no recording - no playback and no data or audio signal recorded.

Instead, I see a "spinning wheel" moving from left to right on the track.

Plus, Audiobus constantly demands that I shut Cubasis down, etc.

How to use this?

Thanks!

  • Which iOS? 10 or 11?

  • 10.3.3

    Why would that matter?

    Everything matters when troubleshooting.

  • I can see Galileo as Interapp in Cubasis... did you rreally search well?

Hidden under Y instead of G--I hate those!

  • Are you trying to add it to an Audio or a MIDI track ?
Ca't remember of the top of my head regarding Galileo but some IAA are generators and not instruments...you can only add them to audio tracks....you will then need to create a separate MIDI track and send it's midi to Galileo.

  • In my screenshot , this was in a midi track. I believe as audio this would also work.

Thanks, folks! I did try it as AUDIO, since that's what worked for Neo-Soul Keys.

Galileo organ does NOT appear as MIDI. In fact, Cubasis says "no instruments" for MIDI.

I have Korg Gadget, Korg Module and a bunch of those apps. Can I use them in Cubasis?

It DOES load as AUDIO, BUT it is useless, as all I get is the traveling spinning circle and no audio.

    So.....

    What am I doing wrong?

    Thanks,

UPDATE: I got it to work, but I had to load a "fake" MIDI piano channel, screw around with the inputs, and it records organ in the piano track. BUT: metronome (for count off) does not work. How to fix THAT? Thanks...
