New App Store is awful. Followed your link, which showed up for a couple of seconds before forcing me back to the Today screen. I then tried to use Search, but every letter input threw me out of the box and the screen began to flash. So I cannot even look for this sale. Tried once again, and when flashing stopped found searching for Yonac produced no result. What a farce.
Strange. Typed in yonac. Came up fine

Yep, just rebooted and can now search again.
Strange indeed. Just a quick and possibly unrelated thought but have you done a factory reset? or did you have issues right out of the box?
So the big question: Do I need Kaspar? I'm trying to focus, and it's easy enough to drop $10 on something that's interesting. I'm sure I'll get $10 worth of entertainment out of it, but I fear it'll simply distract me from actual composition. From afar, there was huge hope for it, and then ... nothing, really. Any Kaspar acolytes? I don't think I need this.
Are the ToneStack bundles 50% off? I may take the plunge though I rarely use it.
You don't need it. I spent several hours with it on release night and deleted it for good. Some may say that's rash, but it just doesn't have any character to it and the 'morphing' is lame. Just one person's opinion.
I think I've bought only one other app since Zeeon came out, and I'm all the better for it as far as getting things done.
I've never understood the bundles. I can't find what's included in them listed anywhere. Most of the effects seem to be duplicates of what's already in the base version.
That's kind of what I suspected, having listened to several tutorials. It's one of those apps where the process really seems to engage the user, but the sounds coming out seem to be nothing special.
Thanks, Oat.
I think Kaspar is great and worth the regular price. Nice feature set, good sound, I'm not crazy about the flat yellow interface though. Zeeon, Poison-202, Kaspar and iSEM are my favourite AU synth currently. Kaspar is worthy in my opinion to be in that company.
They are.
edit: I tried to add an emoji of a guy swimming to represent the plunge... how do you think that went?
ToneStack is my favorite amp sim app & to me the everything/Motherload bundle was worth it. I bought everything in an earlier version and when there was a big update with several new amps the upgrade deals were really good.
Yonac is a great company and while Magellan, Galileo & the newest synth Kaspar all great in their own right, if you play guitar ToneStack is too good to pass up.
IMO you get ToneStack w/everything and get Amplitube and just buy the Fender Collection 2 IAP you'll have an incredible sounding all around guitar recording solution.
What I've found is experimenting with the Fiddlicator app & cabinet IR's can add more realism to a track, but my favorite set up add on is to double the rhythm guitar/lead bits playing through an amp mic'd with an SM57. You might think "Why use an amp sim in the first place?" but the combination is the key.
Most of us don't have excellent sounding live rooms or can't crank an amp loud to get a great amp tone happening. I use my Fender Champ with the SM57 to add some "air" and then have ToneStack for articulation and the bulk of the tone.
+1 Tonestack. It doesn't seem to be everyone's cup of tea, but for me it finally was the sound I've been looking for all these years using (lots) of amp sims on PC, hardware, and iOS.
I must say that after using JampUp, AmpliTube, and even Ampkit, nothing has made me go "YES. THAT is how I want my guitar to sound" before purchasing Tone Stack. I think it's inspiring. Already purchased two motherloads and now my finger is hovering over the third...
Lotta nice delays in Motherload 3.
Def. toast on this one. I love Kasper. But then I've also found some subtle things in it that melt my butter, but probably don't do anything for others. Do you have Zeeon already?
I have Zeeon and love it. Kaspar didn't grab me, but I could be convinced I think. What do you like about it? And, what does "toast" mean? I'm assuming that's a positive declaration, but what does it mean exactly?
Skoal
Sorry, toast is an old family (and far beyond by now) saying which comes from 'Everybody's got taste...' which they do, of a kind. So 'toast' is a variation of YMMV I guess or an acknowledgment that opinions aren't facts and while Kasper floats my sweet spot it may prove distinctly uninspiring to you. By the way, I admire Zeeon and can see that someone with something more about them could indeed be inspired by it.
Thanks
You beat me to it !
I was about to say that ToneStack is all around best in my opinion but sidenote the fender 2 collection is very special. I was so impressed by the how convincing it sounded and felt. Appearently fender 2 uses a completely different algorithm than the rest of AmpliTube amps or fender 1.
Also I feel like ToneStack doesn’t get enough publicity (they're a small company). It’s so damn good sounding and has so many options and really cpu/ram efficient. Leave them a review on the appstore
ToneStack is excellent, get some great sounds putting my guitar through it.
Hi!
Quick question about how Yonac apps work with IAPs. We're fairly new to iOS so please bear with me.
I know that ToneStack is eligible for Family Access so that when I bought the app, my spouse can also download it. But what I don't know is how IAPs work. In other words, can I buy the Motherload(s) while they are on sale and have it work on my spouse's iPad Pro or do we BOTH have to buy them? (If so, ouch!) Otherwise, I may add a "shared" account to our family access and buy it on that one so we both have access to the IAPs.
Any info on how this works would be brilliant! Thanks _**so **_much!
IAPs are not included in Family Sharing. However, they do transfer over to another device that is under your same AppleID.
Thank you for confirming. I was worried that would be the case. I'm thinking we will create a "new" shared Apple ID just for purchases and use our existing IDs for iCloud. I've read this is doable. Hopefully, I'll find that it is!
Thanks again! I really appreciate it.
