Samplebot - cool little app ..but not playing nicely with Beatstep.

As I say it's a great app . I only picked it up last night and have just spent the morning playing with it.

Samplebot is crashing randomly with my Beatstep connected.
I have set up midi bindings for 15 trigger buttons and 15 volume dials.
They all work ( although the volume is at 0 db when the cc is at 64 not 127 so it's easy to distort involuntarily ).
However I have experienced random crashes when I turn eg dial 1 on the Beatstep.
Upon reopening Samplebot it crashes immediately until I do a hard reset or remove the Beatstep from the usb hub.
My Xstation is also connected to the hub and has a midi cc7 connected to Samplebot. This is working as expected but also has the problem of 64 being full volume not 127.

Anyone else having problems with midi control of Samplebot?

    I forgot to add that it did crash once when I was adjusting balances on the fly using the iPad screen as well. The Beatstep was connected so not sure if it is related.

    I have a Beatstep Pro and noticed that if I launch SampleBot before i power on the BSP then all works fine. If I do it in reverse though, SampleBot crashes as soon as I do something on the BSP

    Any chance of including swiping up/down or something to mute/unmute samples?

    It’ll probably be some interaction with the track header in the sequencer, but yeah, I think I’ll be doing that
