I like you @flo26, but I have to say annoys me a little when people post about "free" apps without mentioning that they're restricted without in-app purchases. It seems only courteous to me to mention those restrictions ... in this case, without a $9.99 / year subscription:
I don't have a problem with iAP's and subscriptions, but wouldn't have wasted the time to go dig into it if you'd have mentioned it - especially since Apple has made it more difficult to discover the price for iAPs in the new app store. At least this developer is right up front about the pricing.
Nope , not free , it's based on subscription model but thanks @flo26
Oh sorry,i didn't know about this subscribtion thing.
My bad.
So actually far from going free it's had a MASSIVE price hike.
If you already paid for it then you never need the subscription.
This trend to subscription models makes me so sad
+1
Agreed except if they offer an alternative one time payment as well
Is the subscription model, the "only" way to make ios music stuff/apps sustainable? If it's the developers full time gig?

Is available for just £3 plus iaps for uke and banjo
He-he. As soon as I see "free" that's the first thing I dig into.
Misleading. Not only is the app crippled, without chord detection and just 30 seconds, but it’s also pushing a subscription model. Had I realised that I wouldn’t have bothered to download. Deleted, and won’t bother looking at this again.
