Question about AudioStretch (full version)
I have used AudioStretch Lite for quite awhile, and have been pleased with the results (despite the constraints imposed upon the free version)
I have the full versions of Transcribe+ and Twisted Wave. With both of them, I get various levels of artifacts when used to manipulate pitch and/or speed. If you have all three of them, how do you think the full version of AudioStretch stacks up against the other two? Cleaner? More natural results? Etc. and so on?
Thanks,
Jeff
Comments
the algorithm is identical for both versions of Audiostretch, at least I didn't find any hints about it and they seem to use their own engine (no zplane or ztx).
For curiosity I tried a critical file in Twisted and Audiostretch lite (1semitone higher)
Audiostretch completely messed it up, even added a muddy room that wasn't there before.
The result with Twisted was very natural and almost undistinguishable.
(admittedly it was a very good record of a raw vocal/guitar performance that would show even slight artifacts immediately)
Thanks.
That was very helpful.
