Does he have two first names, or is he one of the number whose mum used her maiden name for his first name? All part of the mystery. :)

  • Nothing like a grand entry to make you popular.

Some go for grandramatic exits too!

  • Hello! I'm new here too, but instead of just saying hello, I said hello and posted an entire iPad album. Perhaps this was a mistake!

    Hi everyone!

Ah....the old album promotion trick :) I've noticed that the best way to make that work is to hang around the place, commenting, querying, offering, critiquing, for about three months until one day someone says (perhaps in high dudgeon) "Well, what have YOU actually ever made/done?" and then you quietly slip a link to the strongest piece on your album into your answer and everyone scurries off to check you and yours out OR just submit something to next month's SOTMC :)

Ha ha, thanks dude. I did think about slipping into September's SOTM thread, but wasn't sure if it was really the right place...

In any case it's certainly less demanding on people to say "Hello" than to say "Hello, please set aside half an hour of your day to listen to my album" — I totally understand that! But at the same time, you know: always hustlin'. B)

I'm certainly hoping to participate and contribute where I can now that I've de-lurked! I'm very much an amateur at music production in general and on the iPad in particular, and this forum (including the archives) has been enormously helpful over the past few months. Cheers to all!

The trouble hereabouts is that there's a lot of hustlers in the house :) Seriously, and for benefit rather than strictly promotion, take a look at SOTM next month, make sure to comment on the submissions of others (lest you incur the considerable wrath of the Gaffer :)) and throw us your best bone....

    Welcome to the club everyone

Fine film. Underrated a little at this point (perhaps), despite all the baubles at the time. The interior irony of Mister Hulse doing so very little subsequently, while Mister Abraham is still striding the dark halls of Homeland remains....

  • Welcome To The Machine. :)

Seriously, it’s about the only forum that has survived my cull.
