Agreed. Only had chance to preview 3-4 sounds last night. But they were really really nice. And cool that it responds to touch pressure on my iPhone 6 inside GarageBand. I found a nice bass sound that I have an idea to use on tonight.

  • They should pay you to promote the IAPs.

It's not great marketing from Roli to send a stock response to an iOS Demo Superstar.

They have now sorted me out with a couple of packs so all is cool beans, I shall be making a couple of videos for the packs they have sent so far, just incredible sounds, it must be insane on the actual Seaboard

These guys should give you all the packs, Doug. Lots of potential customers will only consider buying once they’ve heard what a pack can do, and nobody demos better than you. I hope they’ve supplied the Hybrid Accoustic pack, ‘cause that is the one I want to hear most.

I’d abandoned NOIZE ages ago, but now have it back on the iPad because you made me aware if it’s AU capability, and that there were a couple of free sounds I might use.

Good to hear, good quality stuff but I have to ration my noise makers these days.

  • It’s a bit buggy in AUM at present loaded 3 instances and crashes, maybe because of 1 beta AU effect added. The samples are big so CPU must be tested.

FWIW, just tried three instances of NOIZE under AUM, driven by Fugue Machine, plus a side order of Patterning, and it all played nicely together.

  • It is CPU causes it on a iPad Pro 9.7 just tried Noize on its own 3 instances Cinematica and Hybrid Acoustic packs. You have to watch what you choose as some of the samples make the cpu jump crazy.

I have both of those. They do NOT appear in the AU when loading NOIZE in AUM
    That is really frustrating.
They do appear in standalone NOIZE.
ROLI makes no mention of an AU restriction for those modeling packs.
I do hope this gets sorted.

Thanks - you just saved me at least £10 :) in the meantime I have been enjoying Noise in Cubasis.

The demos of the audio modeling ones sound cool.
I just wish, they'd have a system that would allow to also have the purchased packs available in Equator. That would increase the value for me in such manner, that I would not hesitate to buy the rest which I still don't have.
I am counting 28 existing sound packs right now. I got 16 of them. So happy that I now can use them in Garage Band. :-)

Same here - it's ridiculous, the more expensive packs don't work as AU. Hopefully it's a bug...

I just bought one of them. Was so enthusiastic about the sound. And then ...
The packs don't show up in the AU version, so the same over here.
I guess, their contract with SWAM / Audio Modeling doesn't include the rights for this?
Well, we'll see, maybe it's just a bug...

Samples shouldn't have such big impact on the CPU, that seems odd.

  • The Noise AU has tweakability on some samples

Same issue here. Packs don´t work in AU...meaning you won´t be able to use them outside of the Noise app (won’t work with your keyboard). This is clearly misleading. I have opened an incident at Roli and they answered that this is in part due to “processor limitations”. But in this case, why did they put a direct link to the store from the AU. I will for sure ask for a refund and I strongly suggest you not to buy these packs until they have provided a solution

  • I won't be buying any more packs now until at the very least they identify in the store which ones do or don't work as AU. Having said that all the ones I got free with the Block seem to work fine

  • “processor limitations” ? It's a joke?

  • I bought the Astro Electro pack and it works when loading Noise in AUM. It didn't show up until I opened the standalone Noise app first and selected an instrument from the pack and then loaded Noise in AUM. The drums are not accessible in the AU.

  • Just tried it inside GarageBand. You now get a pitch option on the built in keyboard giving you expressive control is this MPE. Made a quick video.

  • They sent me Hybrid Acoustic and Expressive Electronic And @Jumpercollins that is pretty cool

Yes, that is pretty cool. What a wise step fromRoli to support the pitch option in GB.

Yes, that is nice. And for the ones that don't, there's a message displayed which I understand as there'll be an update coming to introduce tweakability for these in the future.
