iOS 11 midi input via sync cable from pc
Anyone got midi from pc to ios11 device via the sync cable working? Searched the net and haven’t found any information about it.

midimux works, for the most of the times. NOT ALL the times, but is okish
I’m currently using a Steinberg ur242 to pass midi out to iPad but read that with the latest ios11 you could plug it directly into the USB port on the pc. I’m also wanting to connect the iPhone to iPad to get device to device midi?
Seems to be a Mac only thing.... Hope I am wrong..
Not for Windows, until apple will release proper drivers. But I don' t think this is going to happen.
There are several ways - but RTP Midi works https://www.tobias-erichsen.de/software/rtpmidi.html. At the same site are some other helpful tools like the bonjour browser. All free. And of course, Studiomux works as well.
