Blocs Wave -> Launchpad Question

I spent a bunch of time panning and mixing some BW creations and went to import them to Launchpad when I discovered that none of that part transferred. What am I missing? Does the “Flatten” function commit those changes so they will come across? I really tried to find documentation on Ampify’s Web site which is super fancy but really hard to navigate for support.

  • Hi @oddSTAR,

    The changes you make in your Blocs Wave session aren't automatically updated in Launchpad until you re-export them. If you go to export and select the Launchpad option, you'll see that the text has changed from 'export' to 'update', if you've already done at export for that session. It will overwrite the previous export, rather than create a new Launchpad session.

    Also make sure nothing is muted before you update, as it will export the pads in whatever their current state is.

    Let us know if you're still not sure what's going on!

  • Thanks, I'll try that. So what is the purpose of the Flatten iption?

    Flatten renders the current loop to a new file with all edits/transpose/tempo changes in place.

  • Thanks, Andy and Ampify!
