Negative Envelope Amounts?
Been experimenting with negative filter envelope amounts (when synth options allow).
I notice the frequency drops to inaudible levels rather quickly with only a few increments.
So when and how would you use large negative amounts?
(Standard and unorthodox tips welcomed)
-Thx

If it's a low-pass filter, then you'd want to set your starting frequency pretty high. If you set it low then all the frequencies are going to be filtered out.
If it's a high-pass filter, the opposite. Set the frequency on the low end. The negative envelope will cause it to rise, thus filtering out more low frequencies.
