Blocs Wave misfiring-needing 'slip' function following every AudioShare import?

This is happening to me every time- I import even a simple drum pattern from AudioShare (it has been magnified and trimmed exactly and loops/ starts perfectly).
I loop it (even from the very start) and the first beat/ bass drum is muffled-( as though the start of it is chopped of)though it plays perfectly on the second loop. This is also evident for any loop or flattened section- each time- slipping it a fraction seems to solve it. When each loop arrives in Blocs Wave it seems to be slightly offset from the timeline.

  • Nobody? Is it only me? Is your Blocs Wave not affected by this?

  • Yes, sometime It happens here too, but I always export what ever I do in Blocs Wave to another Daw, like Ableton, Auria Pro, Cubasis or BM3 and its no problem with it so I dont worry about it.

Thanks for the replies- I am not a BM3 user at the moment. Does it do the same as Blocs Wave- or do I need to guess and keep on asking?

Everything I used Blocs Wave for I can do in BM3 and a TON more. It does not have a sample library of IAP loops though.

  • Ok thanks- so you can- import from Audioshare- have several long samples playing at the same time whilst selecting small parts of them to match play beside one another- then 'flatten' them to keep before exporting them back to AudioShare and all the rest of it etc.
Does BM3 allow you to file your flattened waves unlike Blocs Wave?
There is nothing that Blocs Wave does that BM3 can't do?
This is a surprise- I don't recall any previous mention of this.
I would be surprised if the majority of a Blocs Wave users were aware of this- but maybe it's just me.
No sample library- that's a plus :p as well

  • Come to think of it- where are the rest of the replies? Have I done something wrong here? This happens to me EVERY time - Does it happen to you or not? Are you still using Blocs Wave?

  • Wooooah.. just started using this again after a few weeks, and the slicing section is now an IAP...?

Feel like I have been iDicked (c)

  • Every time I hit play on blocs wave it skips the first 1/16 or 1/8 note and it drives me crazy. Exporting the song does this too. As you said it works fine when it loops around.
