Oops, was not my intention to initiate a dispute here! Think that you might use that language which fits best. Lots of projects do have a mix of languages just because of that.
It is great to see so many SunVox fans on here.
How do you get to the edit page for a generator? Double tap brings up properties but no controller edit options. Seems like it should be easy and obvious.....
Go to YouTube and do a search on SunVox tutorials, there are a lot of them.
Done that. They all show a wrench on the right side of the modules panel. I do not have that but I have a three line button. They also show the generator controls in a panel on the left. I do not have such a panel. Clearly the interface has changed recently. Something as simple as figuring out how to open the edit window for a generator has eluded me for over an hour now. I want to love this program, but this situation really sucks. This should be the most obvious thing....
Here's a screen shot of the parameters for a generator. Is this what you're wanting to know?

Any bar with the 3 line icon can slide around the screen at your discretion. Grab the one on the left of the screen and drag it out. Once you choose a generator module the controls should appear.
By that same token, how do you set the feedback level for the delay? Haven't figured that one out yet.
Use a feedback module to do this, there isn't a feedback parameter in the delay module.
I think, for reasons I'm not sure of, you are supposed to use two feedback modules one after the other.
Alternatively the echo module has feedback if you only need something simple.
I jest, it probably doesn't read that way.
It's been years since I coded any C/C++, my last project was C# actually.
Horses for courses indeed, I've done a bit of everything over the 20 odd years I've been faking being a Software Engineer. Good for job security ...
That entire edit panel on the left was missing. I restarted Sunvox and then the panel appeared where it belongs. Pretty bad bug, it would seem. I am now happily making sounds.
It does seem that from time to time apps can have serious issues after they're first installed. A restart of the app, the iOS device, or reinstalling the app may be needed to restore functionality to an app that when installed in other cases works as expected. It can be very frustrating to deal with as you may believe you're not understanding how the app's supposed to work when the situation is that the app currently isn't working.
Not finding the generator parameters panel may be about acclimating to the GUI: it's not always apparent at first what panels are accessible at any given moment (which is usually all of them) because it's not clear initially how the bars work that slide them open
It's a steal at full price, more so on sale
That may have been part of the problem. The panel can become hidden if the slide bar is all the way over. Perhaps restarting moved it back to a default starting position. That said, I never saw the panel at all until after the second start.
At any rate, I am slowly becoming accustomed to it, and have been examining the sample projects. Next step is to figure out how to import a specific project I found on the web that I want to tinker with.
It's actually possible to hide one bar completely by sliding another...which is odd
I've used the in-app wi-if transfer, and iMazing (and iTunes) to bring .sunvox and .sunsynth files into Sunvox, for example Solar Lune' stuff https://solarlune.itch.io/solarsynths
As you probably found, the Purely Grey album project files shared upthread will download as .sunvox files directly from github to your device then you'll be offered an "open in Sunvox". Stuff from the warmplace.ru site loads into Sunvox all kinds of ways depending on the poster's mode, but usually you'll end up with an "Open In" screen indevice.
One interesting workflow thing that was added in the last update: use Zolotov's PixiTracker to sketch on a non-tracker style sequencer, then send that project via wifi to Sunvox. PixiTracker turns the project into an .XM mod and sends it in device (via wifi) with all samples, to Sunvox and where it can be saved in that project format.
