So there is no NDA or anything when beta testing BM3 ?
Can you list all the new features in the upcoming 3.0.4 then please ?
come on man lol
So you arent supposed to show the details of 3.0.4 ?
I'm confused, this whole video is about 3.0.4 features, why not just show the rest ?
The point wasnt to list beatmaker 3 updates it was to show what ios 11 and files app can bring if devs implement it
So the way Files might work: Will I be able to move sounds from, say iMaschine into BM3? Or from iMPC Pro? Or Patterning? Or, dare I? iSpark?
And thanks for the video.
yes you use the files app as your storage location and most apps can or will be able to access the files app. Save in open in features and drag and drop for the apps were the devs support the feature
Holy cow. Can you confirm that I will be able to migrate kits from iMaschine into BM3? (Do you have iMaschine?) That's...liberating!
imaschine doesnt make anything easy lol so no. Im doing a video soon where I show you how to use real 24bit maschine groups in BM3. imaschine is only 16bit samples
as far as imps pro those sounds come from the audiocopy app store i believe those can be imported anywhere
Thank you, sir.
I still hold some hope in that ACPY4 will include full Files.app support.
This would cut the dependency on having to use a 3rd party SDK to 'paste' sounds...
Oooh! Is transient detection still in the beta?? Can you do a vid of it??
haven't seen it yet
where did you see this?
It was in the beta at one point and the week before release people were allowed to post videos about BM3 and it got a couple mentions with a very brief glimpse of the option but no real demonstration. It was pulled because it was not up to release standards but i sure hope it makes it back. THis has been the chief compliant i get from Live fans I tried to convert over. They say things like 'its 2017' etc.
lol i get what your saying completely but Beatmaker 3 can do simple things other daws do not like sample to pads I wish Maschine had this feature
You can sample to a pad in Machine, that is its default behaviour, it has no audio tracks ?
Maschine 2 samples to one pad not the whole kit. Thats a big difference for me
I have no idea what you mean, you can put entire kits on one pad or across pads on Maschine ?
no you cant you can only put it on one pad then you have to use keyboard mode unless you have another way. feel like doing a video
You can put kits across the pads, that is the whole point of Maschine !!
If you mean a sliced loop, you have the option of using the slices in keyboard mode or dragging the sliced file to a new group and it will create a kit that uses the pads normally, not in keyboard mode.
I am pretty sure i am not understanding what you mean though.
lol yeah i meant my slices of my samples not just wav files lol
