iOS7-ipad3-Alesis iodock
Is anyone experiencing problems with the Alesis iodock using ipad3 since updating to iOS 7?
Comments
Hey Ben are you having audio problems
Uh oh, sounds like I better give this a test...
There's a change in the behaviour of external audio devices in iOS 7 on the iPad 3. It's one of the reasons why we've suggested to people not to update to the new version of the OS until it's fixed (currently it's not).
I have not installed iOS7 yet due to some of the comments I've seen on the forum. @JuniorPops, the only audio problems I've had are hanging midi notes but I suspect that may be a problem with the Alesis.
@Sebastion, do you think a firmware update of the audio interface might be necessary to be compatible with new OS? Thanks everyone for the input.
