New Noise Reduction App Brusfri by KLEVGR in the store now.

Comments

  • A noise reduction plugin, FINALLY. And of course it's from Klevgr. They're so helpful. Hooray for this.

  • Works great for me. Always happy to support Klevgrand, and this supplied a need outside of Auria.

  • wow.. intro price 50% off is 7.99 USD

  • Picked up Hokusai recently for Noise reduction so redundant to me, but good to see more options for this kind of stuff appearing.

I’ve had odd problems with Hokusai after an update where reducing noise sometimes turned a recording into loud, garbled shite. Probably depended on the recording.

Just tested Brushfri in AUM on iPhone. The workflow is simpler than Hokusai and doesn’t require anything more than possibly freezing a track afterwards (as opposed to switching between apps, moving audio around between apps, etc). Sounds more natural than Hokusai too.

If you need a universal real time noise-print-based noise reducer AU, better get it while it’s $7.99.

  • This is a godsend for me, extremely pleased even with no adjusting of the settings

Not had this problem myself but I’ll keep an eye out for it. I actually like using a separate app because I prefer working in stages - I can do some audio touch up and then completely forget about it. Probably possible to do it like this by loading this app as a plugin and discarding but I like my workflow already (and files should streamline things more). Cool that there are alternatives for even specific things like this though!

  • This one worth every penny for polishing up your sounds.

True. :) Then again, I’m the type of guy who likes saving up money to nab up every alternative so that if one thing fails, I got a plan B. For now, Brusfri is plan A in the way of me recording my vocals in AUM on iPhone (with the backing track being played back in another track via file player), then editing said vocals in either BM3 or Nanostudio 2 (once any of those go Universal). I can even have two Brusfri’s running in a row, using listen for each of them to pick up the noise print (the second picking up anything leftover from the first). I have never gotten my vocals so damn clean without artifacts, not even on my PC mate, lol.

So now, Hokusai and Denoise are my backup plans for cleaning up recordings. :) Cheers mate.

This was a bug which has now been fixed .. applicable for stereo files ...

Ah yeah I remember hearing about that. I only ever processed mono files myself anyway.

    Ah, good. :)

  • This definitely goes on next week's shopping list.

  • Wow great ideas there. Sorta using AUM as a DAW in a way. Also saves tons of cpu using an audio file instead of the whole setup of apps.
