last chance to get Quantum at intro price folks (now gone)

As the title says, price goes up at end of my (UK) day.

Thanks to all of those people who have supported the app with their purchase.

I can now focus on incrementally delivering the following :

  • User Key scales
  • new UI (optional)
  • Euclidean & Generative patterns
  • Midi Import/Export of sequences as midi clips
  • Clip launchpad
  • Drawable LFO to automate Quantum
  • Parameter output as override/modulation of another sequence
  • extending NRPN & automation - e.g. midi fx

and of course always bug fixes, manual updates & new video sessions on features & compositions.

  • So glad I got your app. Thanks!

  • Very much worth it!

  • Yes thank- you for this amazing app which will only get better as time goes on.

  • I gotta say - this app wasn't what I was expecting when I picked it up. That being said, I've since been BLOWN AWAY at the depth of options here and I haven't even dug into the triggering bits.

Tony - this is an incredible achievement. Thanks again.

Now - any thoughts on how I could sync Quantum and the original MidiSequencer to get 7 sequenced tracks?

    ;)

  • Agreed. It has brought me more joy than the pint of over-hoppy microbrew I could have purchased instead. And less trouble as well.

thx - you are probably better off using parts that way you get up to 24.

Thats the plan - its the only way I produce tracks nowadays so its gotta improve ;)

  • Tried to purchase and received a "this item is currently being modified" message. Hopefully it's not the pending price increase...am I too late?

Damn - thats a bug with Apple - I said start from 18th!
Have reverted it to £7.99 (which I think is $7.99) - and will manually change it tomorrow.

but $9.99 will be the new price

  • Really appreciate that the dev at least gave a warning about the sale price ending. This really is nice cause sometimes we don’t get the chance to go refill with a new iTunes card and this happened to me with Chordflow, although, i might not really need it after all.

thx - but imo all devs need to consider early adopters and allow them not feel cheated if for some reason the app doesn't work well on launch (easy to happen given IOS11 & inter-operability of all other apps!)

  • This app is gold!

  • Euclidian and generative patterns.. Oh man... oh man... oh man..

  • So excited Tony!!!!

  • @MusicMan4Christ : Not to mention his active participation here. What a monster app this is ..

    That's a steal...

Thanks for making such a great app.

    Looking forward to,

    • User Key scales
*Midi Import/Export of sequences as midi clips

Got to admit, don't know what some of the stuff is on that list.
(* Drawable LFO to automate Quantum

    • Parameter output as override/modulation of another sequence
    • extending NRPN & automation - e.g. midi fx)

but I am sure it is good. B)

  • @midiSequencer bought and sending you thanks and praise.

I'm getting there - still figuring that bit out. But being able to interface with midisequencer would be ridiculous...

Someone out there must've tried this. Who's the MIDI/routing expert around these here parts?

Honestly, though the idea is intriguing from a purely geeky perspective, I can't think of a single motivation right now to move beyond Quantum itself. Maybe after another few months of plumbing the depths, but I doubt it.

  • if syrup core hasn't tried it then it's not based in midi

Mainly trying to get the most out of previous purchases, but there's got to be some wild things you can do with the two of them. Is there a way to us MS as a controller for Quantum? Set up a master sequence in MS to "play" the individual sequences in Quantum?

I could see this getting really twisted with some crazy routing. I'm surprised that no one else is even entertaining this idea - with so many routing options, I'm sure there are some cool things deep in there that I'm far too lame to think up.

No need to spend time on this though if no one else is interested. Just thinking out loud over here....

The thing is ... you can do all that within quantum. Each rack is like a built-in midisequencer. So, unless you had something insane going on that used all the racks and you needed yet another source to see if you could warp into another dimension or something, I don't see the point. Not that there isn't one, but that it's way past my imagining.
