Minimum iOS 9 required. Dropped support for iPad 4 and below.

  • One really must ask, when will BM3 get this wonderful midi export that BM2 has? The ultimate midi recording app...Ableton Link inclusive..

    Thanks for the update..

  • So what is broke with MIDI in BM3 ?
You didn't actually say the last time you said this.

  • Redownloading now :)

32 bit support coming in a quick update but iOS 9 is still a minimum requirement.

  • Yes it works with Audiobus MIDI, as you were told by another user in the other thread, you ignored.
Feeding MIDI tracks to other MIDI tracks, do you mean built in loopback ? this is not very clear.
Can it import or export anything, yes it has MIDI import, no there is no MIDI export as yet.

Scene repeat numbers and scene tempo change, no and no.
Only input MIDI to the selected pad or bank, this was never the case.

Constantly saying it needs fixing, when actually it just doesn't have features that you want, and you never request them to the developer, but prefer to continually state that it is broken (when it isn't)
Making things up completely and now silly comments like the developer is sad and dead is very strange behaviour ?
Do you have some kind of ulterior motive here for bad mouthing the developers at Intua and calling them sad and dead ?

  • 1 No that is not what you were told, again you ignored it.
2 Two no's is not a lot of no.
3 Again you ignore, this was never the case.
4 Missing features you want and have never requested is not broken, calling it so is nonsense.
5 You didnt say the developer was sad and dead, you actually said the developer was sad and dead, this is also nonsense.

    And why ?
Because you think that outbursts in a forum that is nothing to do with Beatmaker will get you your own way.
Why not actually contact Intua direct ?

I’m quietly disturbed when you bring assumptions of a person into an equation.
Have you no humour and imagination sir? Musicians tent to have both. Even the serious Brahms was a joker.

As far as I remember, lots and lots.

    Has it full AudioBus MIDI?
Can it feed MIDI tracks to other MIDI tracks, duplicating them or using other Apps as filter in between?
Can it import and export anything?
    And so on...

Parts of that work, if you add midiFlow Adapter or standalone.
But BM3 is only working, when this is not needed anymore.

See lots of stuff from this and other topics: https://forum.audiob.us/discussion/comment/390740/#Comment_390740

    Or that: https://intua.net/forums/discussion/5201/bm3-vs-modstep-midi-sequencing
    Scene play repeat numbers?
    Tempo changes on scenes?

Or https://forum.audiob.us/discussion/19973/bm3-modstep/p1 where you can only input MIDI into BM3 to the selected Track and Pad. Did that change already?

And so on and on and on....

Last time I tried to use BM3, I could not even send MIDI to any other App - not before I loaded a sample onto the pad and then muted this track!!! Hahaha haha. This is realy not fixed and finished.

And, every time I try something, I notice that I cannot even read the descriptions of MIDI ports - they are just cut off in BM3!

Simply not usable - at all.

For me, it seems that the one sole and sad MIDI developer at Intua may have died and MIDI will just not be fixed and developed anymore.

But I am not a MIDI guru, I just dabble around.

This means, that I skip BM3 until one of the modstep / MIDI gurus starts to write, that he prefers BM3 over modstep - or at least that it can compete.

Until then, I wait and watch the changelog from BM3 updates - so far, there was not much.

    Was that more clear?

Last update to beta was yesterday and they come pretty damn often. I dont care about getting into details of what you wrote, but lol

You seem to be a reader of thoughts, and it’s not nice to use superpowers in a trivial discussion.

You are making no sense whatsoever, the only thing you might think i assumed is that tja had not contacted the developers, which tja quite clearly stated that he/she could not be bothered to do in multiple other threads.

So i am unsure why you made that comment or this comment either, very strange comments really.

  • Anyone managed to get sound when using IAA ?

Any i try dont produce sound when routed into beatmaker 2 as an IAA app....i have tried poison 202, bebot etc with no success.

    Any ideas?
