Are you really - more than happy to call him?
Does each of the 8 tracks gets its own EQ ?
Yep, seems so.
Ha... indeed. The approach I would take is that I am indeed more than happy to get on the 'blower' and have a good 'ol chin wag when needed. We are a small team (clearly part of a bigger company) and we should be open to all forms of communication when needed.
I would hope that this is the case for anyone, at any level, in any company. If we can't be open, then we're not living up to our responsibility as a provider to a passionate community. You are one of those communities. Hence, I am more than happy to call when needed.
Don't get me wrong, if we were to call everyone all the time, I'm not sure we'd have much time to make awesome apps. There is of course a balance. Also, if anyone wants to know who I am, and see my mug shot, feel free to see here.

Anyway, we do hope you like the new EQ. We think its super useful. As ever, we may not always be able to deliver you the things you ask, in the order you ask, but there is a plan. A big one, and we do have our reasons for the order in which we release features and products. It just might only make sense when you look back in the future.
Stick with us. We've got some cool stuff coming.

Thank you for providing what IMHO is the best app created for musicians and who are willing to create via IOS.
Having this EQ has reduced time in my workflow by on average 1-2 hours by not having to get loops into something else...EQ them, and pull them back into Blocs wave, everytime I want to make a change or tweak....awesome stuff
Also, if anyone wants to know who I am, and see my mug shot, feel free to see here.
You are fortunate to have the aspect of a young (albeit dark haired) Rodger Daltrey.
For sure. Blocs Wave is my most used IOS app. We’re two tracks away from finishing the second RTM album: Monkey See Monkey Do.
Hopefully Midi out for the glorious Groovebox is still part of the master plan?
I'm sending a drone to Ampify HQ to try and spy a glimpse of the whiteboards there, better close those blinds
He is a handsome lad!
Happy to see some effects showing up! Would be great if people that paid €5 for the app before it went free could get some little discount on these or even one as a freebie. Still one of my most used sketchpads for starting ideas with.
I receive an unknown error trying to purchase IAPs
Thanks Matt, much appreciated
I've always loved the app's minimalism combined with the most essential tools to just get the job done. EQ is my personal most important utility in mixing, and combined with blocsWave's recording ability it makes even more sense.
Next to volume automation, EQ automation of any parameter would be a logical update, maybe with a new simple step editor that allows for drawing bars, has an adjustable number of steps, and adjustable attack and decay which affect every step. Simple and effective. The EQ has its own screen anyway, so there's plenty of room for improvement
this would also be a good place for volume/pan automation, as these could simply be additional parameters next to eq frequencies/levels/bandwidth.
The EQ would then be an "EQ+Automation" IAP.
i seem to miss one important feature of EQ (at least in the preview): How do I adjust the mid band's bandwidth (or q factor)?? We only have one single parametric band, so that's quite relevant.
In most other apps, I can tap on the peak handle and change the Q by a second simultaneous finger tap-moving left/right. In BlocsWave EQ, nothing happens when I try that...
Will purchase this just like all your other IAP across all your apps, but can we please get an update to the user sample library organization? I have probably a thousand user samples saved and it’s incredibly difficult to find what I’m looking for when I need it. Keep up the good work!
@AmpifyxNovation when I look at the eq in the little store area in app, it's in French or something. I'm in the us and my App Store settings are all good

You want a discount? On a five euro/dollar/pound app. Times must be hard,
Times are hard indeed and I realise this would probably be impractical to implement and would likey slow down further development. I had been in the habit of buying a pack or two from novation/amplify every time I topped up my iTunes credits to support one of the best iOS developers around today.
I setup a family account last year so paying for 6 iCloud accounts and an Apple Music tends to eat up my monthly app allowance...
I suppose the thought that people can now get both the app and eq together for 2€ was a little annoying having spent quite a bit more on this app. I usually export my blocs stuff to ableton for further tweaking so would have very little use for the touch eq and I'm not sure anymore why I even complained!
A THOUSAND TIMES YES.
+2
I love the app and am happy with the developers, communication, and speed/innovation of updates, but the lack of easy organization for samples I record has made Blocs Wave messy and kinda pushed it off my daily radar. File it under boring but important.
Nice addition to an already wonderful app... except for the slicing feature when it tends to keep playing at the end of the loop and overlaps to the beginning of the loop. That bug forced me to buy virsyn reslice.
Yes this. This is by far my biggest missing piece with it and maybe I had had unrealistic expectations it would integrate with the files app soonish or get better internal management. I bought every IAP, but just want to organize my own easy.
I should add this app got me through a rough patch in the hospital with my SO after we got hit riding a motorcycle in a foreign country. She took to this app immediately and we ended up making quite a few songs with it which made a crap time bearable. I can’t say she wanted to join in playing on other apps. Thanks for that!
+1
