Any free AU synths out there?
Looking for something to include in demoes that everyone has or can get for free.

Good'ns. Thank you @DeVlaeminck!
Noise by Roli is free and AU, with iap
you guys forgot the mention the best Au ever made. Plectrum
yikes. didn't realize it became a paid app now. nevermind.
Both save their state with the AB preset. Hurrah!
Only saves the preset with AB. Well, it stores any tweaks but when you recall the AB preset it reverts to the Noise preset though the dials reflect saved state. You have to tweak them a bit to "wake it up". Sadly, all of them.
I'd never downloaded any of these. They all sound quite good. Thanks all! Bassalicious is only a single OSC for free (and no presets) but the raw sound is plenty good as-is.
Only 'gotcha' with the Yamaha FM Essentials is that it's 'single instance'. Even though one can load multiple instances they will all use the same patch and apparently that's 'by design' and not considered a bug.
I unlocked my FM Essentials at local music-store to gain access to all the presents and ability to save presets
(Too bad they didn't include all the factory presets from the TX81z).
@Samu good to know! Total shame. Loving the ish out of it.
Yeah, you can try sending Yamaha a support request, that's what I did and only answer I got that they were looking into it. It's primarily made as a 'Promo App' for the MX49/61/88 line of keyboards.
I would gladly pay IAP to get the 'AN Synth Book' and 'FM Essentials' as native Cubasis instruments
(Steinberg is after all owned by Yamaha).
