Egoist is lag?
Hi there,is there anybody have the same problem like this video?
I’m the new user of egoist, but when it play,the running bar look like delay with the sound, is it normal??
My device is iPad Pro 9.7 ,ios11

Yep...big time lag. Please email them. I recently did, and they are aware of the problem, but I think your vid will be good for them to see.

Yes me too, I emailed them a couple of updates ago and they said it will be fixed in the next update but it’s still the same. @jcdream please forward your video to them. Same setup as you, by the way.

On iOS 8 and 9, audio and UI are a bit out of sync but not as badly as shown in your vid. Max. offset here is one 16th.
As long as it doesn't get worse I'm Ok with it, I always prefer tight audio and sync over tight UI.
I'm sure SugarBytes have written some very inefficient code regarding the UI, and "fixing that" means more than just changing a few code lines.

Anyway, we are aware of at least a few users having this problem (with iPad Pro only) and are already working on it, but from what I hear from our developers it's not that easy.
It seems to be something with how we're rendering the view hierarchy. I'll of course let you know as soon as we found a solution and a fixed version is available.”

If you have “iPad Pro” and “Egoist” and “the sync problem”,just try it,maybe it can work.
But not for me.In my case,Just only egoist have this problem,and no more page is reading on safari.Even no apps is running in background , egoist still have this problem.
Hope the next version will fix that.
I have an iPad Pro 9.7. I mentioned in another thread that I have the same problem with Egoist AND Unique. I’ve been in contact with Sugar Bytes regarding the issue months and months ago (around the time Unique came out and Egoist was updated to 1.5), emails went back and forth until I got the response that you’ve just received.
FYI
I turned LINK off on all Sugar Bytes app and now they run fine.
I still remember how to adjust BPMs and to press 2 buttons at the same time so all is well.
Actually,I’ve checked all the condition for a long time that may make egoist delay,like what you do.But....just like the video play
I never thought I would be happy to not have an iPad Pro but after reading this thread and checking that egoist is working fine on my older device that is indeed the case! Hopefully this gets fixed soon for those who are having issues...

Anyone else have the issue that Egoist responds to tempo changes with Link, but is constantly out of sync with the start? Or perhaps... does Link work properly for anyone with Egoist, in terms of waiting to start on the downbeat?
quick before it gets approved whomever talked to sugar bytes last tell them to put a few more slicer tracks in there!!!!!!!!!
Yes, I've seen this a few times--the tempo is Linked but the quantum is off. Today I found that I was able to trick it back into starting on the right bar by changing the length of the sequence (dragging the length indicator on the far right toward the left one).
