Just stumbled upon this old post. We (Future Moments) now have an App that will do this. It's called MicSwap Video. You can swap mic sounds on all or parts of your video. You can also add reverb & delay to all or parts of the video. You can also export as just audio or video.

There's a free to try subscription version and a 'Pro" version where you own it forever. Same app, different pay styles. Hope it's helpful for someone! https://itunes.apple.com/developer/future-moments/id895157892

  • Apple devices all should have the built in ability to save the audio from a video separately. I'm at work and don't remember the steps, but it is done using shortcuts.

Pretty certain you can add reverb to audio directly in iMovie. Stock iOS reverb but almost certain I’ve done it before. Maybe iPad only.

Edit: Or maybe I’m nuts. Can’t find mention of how to do it on the World Wide Web.

  • Ferrite can import audio from video and you can use your AUv3 plugins.

  • Twisted Wave and AudioShare can too I believe ... and Anytune
