  • Sounds awesome. Do you think this could work just like the 6144 if all the degrees are set to 0? Or is there still a big sonic difference?

One of those apps that is well worth investing in, and vitally for those like me, can be dabbled with. Just watching your demo shows me that a degree in sound engineering is not required. Just fiddle about, until it sounds the way you want!

  • Damn.you, Doug. Every time I watch one of your videos, it costs me money. Just kidding, of course. Great job showing what this app can do. Rather than jumping in right away, which is what I usually do after a lot of your videos, I figured I’d try the MAC demo version and see for myself. Sold!! $10 for the IOS app and another $39 for the MAC version is money well spent.

Okay, I got this late last night and didn’t actually use it until this morning. Great sound possibilities. But whaaaaaat, in AU - the only mode it can be used in - the design is smaller than a small thing, making it hard to see and fiddly, and there is not a single preset to get you started. These things need fixing.

  • This thing is phenomenal!
@Zen10507 what kind of preset do you expect in an equalizer!Preset1-Good sound,Preset2-Bad sound, etc.
How could an equalizer know what kind of material you put through it?

The same way that Pro-Q2 from Fab Filters does it. What I mean is, no app ‘knows’ what sort of material is being put through it, but FF developers include a large number of possibilities as a starting point. As these have been designed by sound engineers, this is very helpful.

Okay, managed to save a preset in Auria Pro. But, trying to apply this to another instance of AU on next track, doesn’t work. There are no saved presets shown, except in the original use. If I take AP out of memory and relaunch...it’s still not there. Nor does this show up under Cubasis or AUM, so for once it isn’t an Auria issue. Tried rebooting iPad, still no joy. Very frustrating.

  • I’m very impressed with this app. I think I will finally be able to do more subtle than hard-right hard-left panning

For sure, sound is superb. Dev just needs to make it more user friendly, in terms of size, and fix the preset saving/loading issue.

Great eq, but it says you can use it as a mid/side eq and I cannot understand how. Any help?

  • Great companion to 6144. Sounds great.
