I like the clean ui’s best, but I like model 15 because it just gives a great vibe of sitting in front of the real hardware, without being cheesy.
I love things like the new Neo Studio but that's because it's easy to use and sounds fantastic; love follows on easily from those two (for me) central design choices
It does sound top notch. I'm not really a fan of the look, but it is appropriate to what it is, so it gets a pass. I feel the same way about Model 15.
I really like Auria. Laid out nicely, and I like the look. Aum is, I think, the most beautiful app I have seen.
For usability, Geoshred. I actually like the esthetics as well, (I know some don't), but for a usable musical instrument on a touch screen, it's pretty darn fine. Very large note range, great modulation/vibrato control. It makes huge sense.
I really like Sector, but have always wondered why it starts at 3 o'clock and not 12 o'clock. It confuses me a little, but not that big of a deal, but still...why?
Egoist, Borderlands and Samplr are prob my faves for visual aspect
