i havent used garageBand alot, but one quickie, if i have a pattern playing for an AU, how do i switch out the AU for another and keep the Pattern ?
any good tutorials on GarageBand ?

Is the pattern in a MIDI clip? If so you can add another AU track then drag the MIDI clip to the new track
